It is the celestial body
that illuminates the sky,
you joined the sun,
and Ra came into being.
Oh Ra, my eyes
will forever be blind
if I do not see you
warm my soul
tomorrow at dawn.
East and West, never the twain shall meet?
Yet China knows the king of the sky,
and the benevolent bird.
Male and Female,
two opposites,
but within Yin and Yang,
the mythical creatures are alike in dignity.
When these two come together as one,
dancing in the skies,
any married couple
will be blessed with joy.
Abundance to all! Let the land be fertile too!

to the skies above,
ponder if the legendary
creatures are true:
behold
the Dragon and the Phoenix
The spectacle
is majestic,
along with grey clouds
of heaven, they now
