THE STAFF
Janna D. Tierney is an English major in her senior year at the
University of St. Thomas. She is minoring in Irish Studies and
History. A native Californian, she tutors English and is a published
children’s author. This is her third semester with the Laurels staff

Fiction Editor
Quang Vo is an International Studies major with concentrations in
Diplomacy and East Asia at the University of St. Thomas.
A recipient of the Susan T. Scanlon Poetry Award and recognized by
the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards, he has also published poetry
in Perfume River Poetry Review and Polaris. He is currently poetry
editor of Laurels.
Poetry Editor
Francesca Rainosek is in her third year as an English major with a
communication minor at the University of St. Thomas. This is her
Laurels Magazine staff. In her free time, she likes to
write, watch old movies, and care for her many pets.
