Youth will learn about market livestock and how to raise and properly care for an animal. Species include; lambs, hogs, goats and steer. They will work through a project book and learn how to judge animals through judging clinics and skill-a-thon contests. Youth do not have to own an animal to participate in the club. Youth will learn shooting as a sport and have the opportunity to compete in district and state target competitions. Disciplines offered are .22 rifle, BB and archery. Call for more information if interested. There is a small fee for membership upon registration. Limit: 50 youth.
