Huge Success: 6th annual
International Cuban Sandwich
Festival hosted by HCC-Ybor!
On Saturday, April 1st, 2017: We were able to host the first
Kids Cuban Sandwich Showdown, that day we also were able to
make the BIGGEST Cuban Sandwich in the World, breaking the
record previously set in Orlando, Florida in Feb of 2017.

to make the 150 Ft. Sandwich which was later donated to a
homeless shelter! This day saw the biggest increase of guests!

On Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 we were able to host the Interna-
tional Cuban Sandwich Ssmackdown! This year we had a con-
testant come from as far as South Korea, the Tampa Sandwich
Bar from South Korea attended and won Most Popular! The
contest featured chefs and restaurants from all around the
world competing for the Title of World’s BEST Cuban Sand-
wich. Over 50,000 People attended the fun filled weekend!
