tribute day
The annual event to honor truck drivers that have passed away is organized by only the best, Kareen Lapointe, Patrick Forgues and Patrice McMullen from the SSPT (PTSD) amongst truck drivers. They are also helped by Jean-Francois Ouellet and Linda Gazaille from Relais Routier, friends and volunteers. The event took place last April 17th in Drummondville, Quebec.
This special day attracted many truckers that wanted to be there to pay respect to their fallen brothers and sisters that passed on doing what they loved and to meet the families and friends gathered for the same reason but in honor to their kids, their father, their brother.
Many mourning families gathered in Drummondville that day to remember their close ones, but also, in a way, for closure, to help make the pain go away brought by the solidarity that the brotherhood brings by sharing their hurt.
