Many of us had the chance to admire the marvelous piece of machinery in Show & Shines across the province.
Patrick Gelinas, along with his wife Helene Leclerc, are always pleased to show people around their 1981 Kenworth and answering the questions of the truck enthusiast in events in which they take part of.
It was back in 2008 the Patrick took possession of his W900A freshly painted, propelled by a 400 horsepower Caterpillar 3406 B engine that he quickly brought up to 425 horsepower and a 15-speed overdrive transmission.
The following three years Patrick and Helene worked hard on reduing all the electric wiring, going touch-ups on the interior and adding multiple custom parts.
With its 280-inch wheel-base, its flat-top sleeper and its Apache paint scheme, this ol’ Kenworth really has everything to be turning people’s heads.
