Jimmy Auger

Jimmy Auger has a passion, a passion passed down to him from a father who owned and operated a trucking company. From a young age, Jimmy was always impressed with trucks, which pushed him to go get his truck drivers license and to begin a career in the trucking industry as soon as possible. He stayed in the business until the moment that he started his own family.

In the making of his project, Jimmy realized that he was pursuing his dad’s dream by building a truck up to his standards. He also involved his children in the restoration of his magnificent 1997 Peterbilt, to bring a passion in the heart of the Auger family.

When the time came to chose the ideal truck for his project, Jimmy had specific needs. He needed a Peterbilt 379 or a flat top Kenworth W-900-L. It had to have a Caterpillar engine and an 18-speed transmission. He finally found this beautiful 379 that met up with all his requirements.

Back in the day, when Jimmy first got the truck, it was a Black Cherry colour. After the transaction, Jimmy thought about painting the frame and putting it back on the road. But once the work started, his vision of a show truck started to come to mind, plans change…
