As a time machine, Daniel Roy's Kenworth, throw us, back right in the middle of the 80's. Filled with chrome and lights ,the W-900 B, on 11 R 24.5 tall rubbers, really reminds us, what was a Large-Car, back then .
While the yonger ones wish they could have had the chance to drive the trucks of that era, the older drivers, recalls the reality, sometimes not that easy, of those years of hard work , with a minimum of confort . But the pride to drive, such of a Large-Car, in those years, was worth all the hours that
we have put into it .
With a 350 hp Caterpillar engine, a 15 speed transmission and a 4:11 ratio , this beautiful 1985 "K-Whopper" , must have been everybody's dream truck , with its aluminum wheels and its V.I.T. luxurious interior .
Daniel became the proud owner of his truck, in 1995 . Since he was not working it, during the winter, he had all those cold months to work on his Kenworth .It's in 2000, that he took everything apart, and completely rebuilt it, to his taste .
Peinted in yellow and purple , with some 7" exhaust stacks, a bumper that totalize 26" with the light bar , some stainless steel cab skirts and some light bars under the tool boxes and the fuel tanks , a rear bumper that counts many led lights .
