CYCLE PARKING
Cycle parking is a major consideration for all schools.
Here at Langley Design we can assess your cycle parking
requirements and create innovative solutions in a cost-
effective way.
The school travel plan and BREEAM (Building Research
Establishment Environment Assessment Method) combine
to determine how much cycle provision is required.
Cycle parking requirements are part of the school travel
plan. The plan, which takes into account the number of
users and the location, combines with BREEAM to work
out the amount of cycle parking provision needed on site.
We have vast experience in this area and can advise on
requirements and needs for each individual school.
We can maximise on space and work within the available
areas to produce as much cycle parking as needed, with
various solutions to solve most problems encountered.
We offer a variety of different styles of cycle shelters and
stands. Cycle parking can be open or contained or even
locked up. It can shelter or completely enclose, giving
various degrees of shelter from the elements and security
from potential damage or theft.
We also have environmental options for eco-friendly
projects, with Sedum roofs or green roofed shelters available
that blend into the landscape and offset emissions.
