by launching a
garden edging
that is made from
100% recycled
household plastic.
LUC was lead consultant for the Heritage Lottery
Funded scheme to rejuvenate this popular open space
rich in history. Eco Edge is
stylish, strong and as easy to work with as wood,
making it an ideal edging for gardens and landscaped
public space. Unlike wood, however, it is rot-proof,
needs no varnishing, staining or preservative -
making it cost-effective, flexible and long lasting.
Working for Watford Borough Council, we restored
surviving historic features such as the monumental
Lime Avenue, carriage drives and estate watermill
ruins; recreated iconic features of the picturesque
parkland such as the tea pavilion and gardens,
reinstated the Bandstand and refurbished the
popular water play area, allied to a new park
hub building.

Straight Eco Edge is available in straight pieces for
linear borders. Rolled Eco Edge comes on a roll for
bends and slopes. Both are available in dark grey and
brown in 10, 18 and 25 metre lengths, and all are
14cm deep and 0.7cm wide.
