SLOUGH ICE RINK
GETS A REVAMP
Originally built in the 80’s,
Slough Ice Arena has just
undergone a major revamp
and as part of this, OOBE
designed the surrounding
area’s landscape.
Owned by Slough Borough
Council and managed
by Everyone Active, the
ice rink has undergone
a multi-million pound
transformation and opened
its doors to the public on 17
April 2018.
The once dated building is now an impressive and
contemporary structure that has a fantastic outdoor
space leading to up to its doors.
Mike Goodall, one of OOBE’s founders explains;
“There is a big drive by Slough Borough Council to
get more people active, and what better and more fun
way than ice skating?
