The scheme has specific divided areas to meet
the client brief, with flow and connection between
these areas to draw people around the whole
space. A visual connection with the surrounding
countryside was vitally important and the
hardscaping needed to blend with the setting.
The new large terrace is now home to a range
of Mediterranean style plants including some
large olive trees. From this area, steps lead to a
long walkway running the length of the 2-acre
garden. Along the walkway you can wander over
a granite bridge and continue along an avenue
of Malus Evereste planted in longer grass with
wildflowers, eventually arriving at a bespoke
green oak garden building with wonderful views’.
