The scheme has specific divided areas to meet the client brief, with flow and connection between these areas to draw people around the whole space. A visual connection with the surrounding countryside was vitally important and the hardscaping needed to blend with the setting. The new large terrace is now home to a range of Mediterranean style plants including some large olive trees. From this area, steps lead to a long walkway running the length of the 2-acre garden. Along the walkway you can wander over a granite bridge and continue along an avenue of Malus Evereste planted in longer grass with wildflowers, eventually arriving at a bespoke green oak garden building with wonderful views’.
