“The limited space in cities is an
issue, so designing gardens in
London is in some ways the most
challenging and, at the same time,
most satisfying,” says Charlotte.
“Small town spaces require huge
attention to detail – accurate
dimensions and design, carefully
chosen colours and materials and
plants which provide year round
interest – if any of these elements
are left out, a small garden or
terrace will simply not work.”
“Our aim is to reflect as closely as
possible the styling, decoration
and colour palette of the client’s
home so that there is a strong visual
relationship between the inside
and outside spaces.,” says Charlotte.
“We regularly work closely with
architects and interior designers to
ensure that this is achieved.”“

Charlotte is a registered member
of the Society of Garden Designers
(SGD) and has won several industry
awards for her garden designs
and lighting schemes. She is also
a mentor on the SGD’s Mentoring
Scheme, and gives talks and
speeches across the country and
overseas, as well as lecturing
regularly at Inchbald School of
Design in London.
