DESIGN COMPETITION
Retrofitting Green Infrastructure Solutions for Neighbourhoods
INGENUITY
Your brief is to design a water sensitive retrofitting scheme for your neighbourhood. The scheme
should be designed to increase resilience to hotter summers and wetter winters, which are predicted
by climate scientists to become a more regular occurrence.
The winner will be awarded £1000 and runners up £500. All winners will also benefit from a day
of tailored expert input to help them develop their designs further. All shortlisted entries will also
be showcased at a Design For Life awards event later in the year and featured on the Landscape
Institute’s website. The closing date for sub missions is Monday 21st September 2015.
