SUPPLIER FOCUS CASE STUDIES CASE STUDIES ROUND WOOD A new, stunning mirrored building was officially launched to the trade at this year’s Landscape Show in Battersea Park. Exclusive UK distributor Round Wood of Mayfield featured an ÖÖD House as the centerpiece of a stand that attracted significant interest from garden designers, landscapers, architects, developers and hoteliers. Steel framed, ÖÖD buildings blend beautifully into any setting courtesy of the insulated glazing that covers the front and side elevations. The rear elevation features eco-friendly thermo treated ash cladding which cleverly conceals a service void. Two standard versions with a footprint of 6m x 3m are currently available, both fitted out to a high specification, including oak flooring and air conditioning. ÖÖD Rooms offer striking and open recreational/studio space. ÖÖD Houses feature additional living facilities, including a bathroom and kitchen. This makes them ideal for the provision of self-contained, luxury and novel living areas. The ÖÖD House on display at Battersea Park particularly caught the eye of high end Hotel and B&B owners looking for additional accommodation. Given the rates that can be charged, ÖÖD offers an investment that can be returned in just few years with a reasonable occupancy rate. Interest was also high amongst those working on projects with a need for buildings that blend sympathetically into the surrounding environment, whether for homeowners or commercial purposes.
