The irm supplied its ArborRaft tree planting system to plant 11 semi-mature trees as part of the town’s landscape design for the proposed refurbished town centre area. The ArborRaft System works by absorbing the impact of vehicle and pedestrian load to prevent soil compaction, thus protecting the tree roots and growing media and allowing the tree’s roots to grow within their natural path. Some 80 tonnes of Green-tree Subsoil was used to build up levels before the trees were planted and 40 tonnes of Green-tree ArborRaft soil were used in this project. The ArborRaft Soil works with the system to prevent compaction within the tree pit and ensures essential moisture, air and nutrients reach the tree’s roots. Green-tech also supplied the Tree Anchoring systems necessary to stabilise and secure trees; Mona Plant System rings, gt Rootbarrier 325 to control and protect the tree roots and structures and inally, Resi-Grille to
