CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW
A rich mixture of tones is one of my major goals . Depending on the results of the experimental part on the canvas during the painting , I try to find and adapt new ideas . Therefor I have only limited possibilities to plan the workflow . The texture has a big impact on these facets and tones and they should end in a symbiosis . The choice of the texture is – together with the viscosity of the color - depending on the wanted effects . Not every result fits to my expectations of course , then I try to keep the color wet until the result allows me to progress at a later point of time . Beside that practical attribute , the structure is a part of the character and the expression of the work . But not every painting includes structures , sometimes I just start to mix colors and enjoy their merge . Many of my paintings started like that . It also may happen that I fall in love with such an interaction of the colors and just let it dry .
