a piece which invites another person to reflect . It should trigger the viewer on a intellectual and an emotional level to get in . A good artwork absorbes all of the attention of the viewer . Time and space disappear , only the relationship between the artwork and the viewer matters at that moment . Together you create your own world . It ’ s very personal and can only be achieved if the artist was honest and the viewer is open to enter . Ofcourse I hope that my work triggers people to get in , but who am I to tell .
We would like to pose some questions about the balance established by colors and texture : we have really appreciated the vibrancy of thoughtful nuances that saturate your pieces they suggest the idea of ephemeral plasticity and even such a tactile feeling . How did you come about settling on your color palette ? And how much does your own psychological make-up determine the nuances of tones you decide to use in a piece and in particular , how do you develope a texture ?
I think I already answered this question before , maybe this question can be combined within another .
But i like to add this . By using varnish I can “ lock ” the layers underneath and it gives me the opportunity to add , but also remove new layers without losing the layers underneath . I create texture
