My childhood fascinations to fantasy literature , sci-fi movies have never disappeared ; all of that surrounded with my surreal , dark sense of humor had a strong influence on my creativity . There is always this nostalgic need of stepping off a boring , every day reality .
Paradoxically , while working on a new piece , I don ’ t want to run away too far from the world I live in and end up with fantastic visions full of wizards and unicorns . Just like in David Lynch movies or stories written by Haruki Murakami , I aim to stand as close as possible to the edge of our reality , keeping my dreamlike fantasy authentic and familiar
