The particularity of traditional Chinese painting is brush and ink . However , I love colors . The natural world can only exist with the help of light , and it is the ever-changing quality of light which gives things their colors and light come to life on the canvas and thus could do justice to the magnificent colors of our planet The interaction between nature and the subject matters in various different and changing light of impressionism holds a special attraction for viewers and I am so fascinated by the impressionist works . So I Incorporate the mellow tonality of light and color in Chinese painting by means of brush and ink .
As regard to my pursuit of study at Tsinghua University of China , it was mainly that I wanted a retreat and change at that time , and it was not an easy task . The late professor Wong believed that I would have achievement one day . His encouragement is the spur for me to make progress .
