CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW mourning the death of my father . The Piece " Clouds ", however , was painted five years after and therefore there are significant differences that are expressed by using formative elements in the painting .
One of the hallmarks of your work is the capability to create a direct involvement with the viewers , who are urged to evolve from a condition of mere spectatorship . So before leaving this conversation we would like to pose a question about the nature of the relationship of your art with your audience . Do you consider the issue of audience reception as being a crucial component of your decision-making process , in terms of what type of language is used in a particular context ?
My relationship with the audience is of a spiritual connection evolving while observing my work . I paint as part of my inner world and hence the truth is expressed in the works . I do not try to fit myself and my works to the audience in order to impress it or rather meet existing artistic trends . I believe that the audience is capable of emotionally intelligent observation . The audience feels the emotional nuances in my work and activates his personal and subjective experiences of his inner world . I believe that in this way , the experience is intensified and it feels as if it is its own story presented on the canvas . I experience art and paintings as an international human language that transcends cultures and borders , and I am grateful to the wonderful audience that makes my own experience , its . It is my greatest satisfaction .
Thanks a lot for your time and for sharing your thoughts , Mally . Finally , would you like to tell us readers something about your future projects ? How do you see your work evolving ?
I would like to thank you for allowing me this great privilege to take part in your wonderful magazine . To your question , I continue to learn , to evolve and paint non-stop . These days I work on a new solo exhibition that will be displayed in the LEMON FRAME Gallery in Tel Aviv . Apart from that , I ' m working on a series of paintings in which I explore using a palette of one color . I am very curious to witness the effect of using different color nuances on the nature of my work and the emotion it will generate in the audience .
