I’m sorry, but a TELEVISION LICENCE? I just had to get that off my chest. I’ll get
back to it.
This is where I am at this point.
It seemed logical to me that my first order of business was to get my credit
card unfrozen and get some cash. This was a harrowing experience frankly,
because in order to unfreeze the card, I had to call my bank in the United
States, who put me on hold for what seemed to be forever and I was terrified
that all of my airtime would run out and nobody would ever hear from me
again, because I had no money to buy more airtime, because – yes – the bank
had frozen my card. The bank did manage to get the job done with a few
minutes to spare; one crisis avoided. Now to get to the cash machine.
