Once this layer was dry, I cut out patterns from paper serviettes, removing the edge pattern which was in blue, and wouldn’t look good on the design. Remove the back layers of the serviette, so that you have one single piece with the design on, which will go transparent when stuck to the pot. Using podge, paint a layer onto the pot where you want to design to go, then fit the picture in place, and paint over with another layer of podge. Repeat this all around the pot, until you are happy with the overall look. Once dry, paint with a layer of water based, non-yellowing varnish (Plascon) which will seal it nicely for use outside. Put a pretty plant in and enjoy! https://www.facebook.com/bushbaby.mosaics TO BOOK YOUR PLACE CALL ALEX mobile: 079 6976 555 email: [email protected] visit us: Hermanus Country Market (Cricket grounds) Saturdays
