BRIDE’S BARNYARD DOWRY
Rachael’s dad had a running joke about having to give Jessie
a dowry in payment for taking Rachael off his hands. At the
wedding reception, when her dad gave his speech, he reminded
Jessie about the dowry and gave him several little plastic
cows, pigs, and goats to live up to his “bargain.”

CHEERS TO A ROMANTIC ENGAGEMENT
The couple used a bottle of wine and glasses from their
romantic engagement at Castello de Amorosa in Napa for
their first toast.

A Chef’s Wedding Reception Menu
Racheal was out shopping with her cousin when she saw the perfect bridal gown on
sale in her size. She was not engaged and did not even have a serious relationship at
the time. Since the dress was so perfect and did not need a single alteration, on a
whim and since she was able to get an $1,800 dress for $200, she bought it with hopes
for the future. On that very same night, she met Jessie at a dart tournament . . . Four
years later, the two married, with Rachael wearing her dream dress (which still fit her
perfectly!) “I was a little embarrassed to tell Jessie how I had bought the dress before
I had even met him,” says Rachael.
