2020!
We are at the end of 2019 with lots of “Firsts” in this new facility.
We have had our first Easter Egg Hunt, our first National Long Term
Care Week, our first Independence Day Celebrations, our first
County Fair Rain Out, our first Black Walnut Festival and Parade,
our first Halloween, our first Thanksgiving Fellowship Social and our
first Christmas.
We are now ready to celebrate and embrace this new year with
“2020 vision”, to be the first choice in long term care and for a ca-
reer in healthcare. We plan to accomplish this by providing ex-
ceptional care and services delivered by our compassionate
healthcare team.
We wish our residents and their family and friends the very best
that 2020 has to offer.

Donald J. Babb Retiring
Donald J. Babb, CEO/Executive Director
of Citizens Memorial Hospital/Health
Care Foundation is retiring January 2020
after more than 50 years in health care.
While the average tenure nationally for
a hospital CEO is around five years,
Babb is one of the longest tenured hos-
pital leaders in Missouri. Since 1981, he
has led CMH as its one and only CEO.
Gary Fulbright, CMH Chief Financial
Officer, is Mr. Babb’s successor.

Employee of the Year. She exemplifies
care, compassion and dedication.
She keeps a pleasant and positive at-
titude, always encouraging her peers
to do the same. Lerri has been with
this facility for over ten years and pro-
vides excellent service to the residents
in her care. Congratulations, Lerri!
