The Lake Forest Parks & Recreation Department invites fathers and
their young princess or princesses to attend our Winter Ball. The
gymnasium will be transformed into a beautiful castle, providing
a magical night of dinner, dancing, and crafts. This is a wonderful
opportunity to spend some quality time with those who matter most.
Participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Disney
princess. We hope to see you there!

MARCH 10 (ALL AGES)
Bring your friends and family and join us for one of Chicagoland’s
largest reptile exhibitions. Enthusiasts and experts from around the
region will exhibit more than 150 snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises and
more. See page 63 for additional information.
Enjoy a wonderful opportunity for family fun and entertainment at
our annual Easter Eggstravaganza. Children will enjoy crafts, games,
pictures with the Easter Bunny, and, of course, the exciting Egg
Hunt. A special children's performance will precede the hunt. Please
remember to bring your baskets!

EASTER BUNNY BASKETS
APRIL 17 (1M-9Y)
Imagine the delight your child will experience seeing the Easter Bunny
hop up to your front door with an Easter basket made specially for him
or her. The Recreation Department will help the Easter Bunny make
and deliver each colorful basket to the lucky recipient. Baskets will be
delivered between the advertised times.

SMELT-O-RAMA
APRIL 27 (ALL AGES)
Join us for a fun Lake Michigan tradition! Smelt return to our shores
each spring to spawn in the warm water near piers and beaches.
Seasoned anglers will be on hand to demonstrate the dip netting
method. Learn how to catch, clean, and cook these tasty little critters!

Bring your family to the Recreation Center for a night at the movies!
Supplies will be provided to make your own cardboard car - decorate
with decals and take a seat and enjoy. Snacks and beverages will be
provided. Please register each family member.
