Registration Information RESIDENT REGISTRATION WHO IS A RESIDENT? TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2018 Our residency policy: Children and adults MUST LIVE within the corporate limits of the City of Lake Forest to be considered a RESIDENT of Lake Forest. Lake Bluff residents will be eligible to receive resident rates for all programs, fees, and memberships in the following areas: Athletics, Fitness Center, Wildlife Discovery Center, Stirling Hall Arts Center, Kinderhaven Preschool Academy, Lake Forest Dance Academy, Lake Forest Sailing, and Deerpath Golf Course. Forest Park Beach operations and fees are not included in this agreement. Lake Bluff registration takes place during the same time as non- resident registration. Resident registration will be the first registration processed. Registration is done by first come, first served basis. You can register online at www.LFParksandRec.com or bring, fax, or send in your registration form to us. Telephone registrations are not accepted. NON-RESIDENT REGISTRATION TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2018 Non-residents may register in person OR online at www.LFParksandRec.com for any programs not already filled. LOG IN to www.LFParksandRec.com and register from the comfort of your home or anywhere you can access a computer. A user ID and PIN number are needed. Please call the main office at 847.234.6700 BEFORE Monday, December 4, 2018 to get yours. WALK IN the Recreation Center office. FAX your completed registration form to 847.615.4251. MAIL your completed registration form to: Lake Forest Parks & Recreation 400 Hastings Road Lake Forest, IL 60045 DROP your completed registration form into one of the City’s white mail boxes. TELEPHONE REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REGISTER? If programs chosen have openings, your registration will be processed and a confirmation receipt will be sent to you. If you register online, you will receive the confirmation right away. If programs chosen have already reached maximum enrollment, your name will be placed on a wait list and you will be contacted as soon as a spot is available. Walk-in and online registration have first priority. Forms that are received by fax or mail will be processed as soon as time permits. REGISTRATION PAYMENT OPEN GYM & GAME AREA The gymnasium is open to Lake Forest and Lake Bluff residents for drop-in activities throughout the year. Unsupervised availability to the gymnasium for walking, adult open gym, and preschool open gym is offered during weekdays. A responsible adult must accompany preschoolers at all times. Supervised availability to the gymnasium for school-aged children and families is offered weekdays after school and during regular weekend hours when no programs are using the gym. A monthly gymnasium calendar is located in the flyer rack at the Recreation Center, on the City of Lake Forest website, and posted on the gymnasium door. Program fees must be included with registration form. Checks are payable to LAKE FOREST PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT. Fees may also be charged to your DISCOVER, VISA, MASTERCARD, or AMERICAN EXPRESS card by providing the information listed on the registration form (pg. 74). BROCHURE ACCURACY Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of information contained within this brochure. However, errors can occur and circumstances may require adjustments to fees, schedules, locations, or other information. Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to make such adjustments and apologizes for any inconvenience these errors or adjustments may cause. The brochure is published three times a year by the City of Lake Forest. The game area is open during regular hours. Stop in to play a video game or tackle homework between activities.
