INTRO TO THEATRE - ELEPHANT AND PIGGIE’S THEATRICAL PLAYGROUND
BEGINNING LEVEL (4-7Y)
You have read the books, you have seen the musical, now its time to Play. This fun-filled, high energy class will use both script and musical excerpts from
Mo Willems amusing writings to help your child explore the beginning concepts of performing. This class is geared towards a younger performer and will
focus on creative play, imagination, and physical and vocal awareness all in a confidence building environment.

HOLLYWOOD LIGHTS: LIGHTS, CAMERA, DANCIN’ (MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMANCE 1)
BEGINNING LEVEL (GRADES 1-4)
In this intro to musical theatre, students will explore the fundamentals of dancing, singing, and acting along to some of the biggest Box Office Hits. Your
child will love to creatively play and learn through songs from musicals such as Enchanted and Into the Woods, while in a safe, supportive atmosphere.
This entertaining and high-energy class is great for kids just starting out or those with a bit of experience, featuring chorus numbers, duets and solo’s.

BROTHERS GRIMM PRESENTS THE FROG PRINCE (MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMANCE 2)
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (GRADES 3-6)
Students will learn through an array of silly characters in this side-splitting script. Your child will enjoy growing as
performer while working on the principles of musical theatre. They will learn and sing along to a number of amusing
songs like “How I Became a Frog” while learning new dance moves from our passionate, encouraging staff.

IN THE MOMENT: SCENE STUDY (PERFORMANCE 3)
ADVANCED LEVEL (GRADES 6-12)
This course will challenge your young thespian to make strong choices in their work; exploring character
development, scene analysis, auditioning, and more. Classes will focus on creating a more confident, authentic,
and truthful actor, while using a variation of scenes from both classical and modern day scripts.

NEW! TRIPLE THREAT WORKSHOP
ADVANCED LEVEL (GRADES 6-12)
The Triple Threat workshop at Citadel Theatre unites the three disciplines of acting, singing ,and dancing into a
unified whole - strengthening each of the elements equally to create a well-rounded performer. This class will
prepare students to meet the challenges of auditions, school musicals, and talent shows.
