Boys Lacrosse
The Lake Forest Parks & Recreation Department (LFPRD) and Lake Forest Lacrosse Association (LFLA) have
partnered to build the most robust and successful Boys Lacrosse program in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff. This
partnership allows players with talent and interest to continue to play and develop their lacrosse abilities in a
seamless manner between both organizations, leading up to play at the High School level.
This combined Lake Forest Lacrosse program will benefit players and their parents by:

Providing professional coaching to all players;
More closely matching each player’s skill level with the appropriate teammates and competition;
Lowering the cost per training hour for most players; and
Providing outstanding fields in closer proximity for both practices and games.

• NEW FOR 2019:
LFLA will be fielding a 2nd Grade Elite Blue team that will
practice & play games similarly to the older Elite Blue teams.
To register for LFLA Blue teams and/or try-outs, please visit www.lakeforestlax.org. To register for White teams, please visit
www.lfrec.com. Try-outs for Blue teams will be held in March, and if players don’t make Blue teams, they will be guaranteed a spot on a
White team. White teams will play in the same league as Blue teams, but will be managed in a less competitive environment, stressing
fun, safety, and skill development. Blue teams will play in either the A or B divisions of the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA)
league, where as White teams will play in B or C divisions.
Both programs, LFRD & LFLA, will partner to ensure that players are placed in the appropriate settings to maximize their skill
development and ensure a genuine lacrosse experience. Both programs will provide professional paid Head Coaches for ALL teams.
