Raising kind and compassionate children is the goal of this one-hour weekly group, as they will participate in lessons and activities that will encourage
empathy and social concern. The children will choose projects to pursue both locally, nationally, and globally as well as have fun finding ways to make a
difference in people's and animals' lives as well as the greater world!

PARENTING LECTURES (18Y+)
TEACHING CHILDREN RESPONSIBILITIES: CHORES, OBLIGATIONS, AND FOLLOW THROUGH: This workshop will explore the importance of
having children participate in chores and activities that increase their sense of accomplishment and promote growth and self-esteem. It will also
look at a progression of household and community involvement and how valuable it is for children to feel that they contribute and they are trusted.
Developmentally appropriate chores and tasks will be examined as well as the importance of following through with personal and family obligations.
