YOUNG POTTERS (9-14Y)
This class is for students who are interested in learning about the potter’s wheel and developing the skills required in wheel throwing.
Functional pottery projects will be emphasized.

Students are encouraged to complete at least two sessions of Dynamic Ceramics before participating in this class.
Exceptions for older students can be made.

PARENT & CHILD CLASSES!
Work together in these parent and child pottery classes. 25 lbs. of clay, firings, and high-fire glazes are included
in the class fee. Students need to supply their own personal hand tools, which are available for purchase at
Stirling. Both parent and child must register to participate in the class. Class fee includes one adult and one child.
HAND BUILDING WITH MY PARENT (6-12Y with Parent)
Parents and their children will work together using the four techniques of hand building (coil, slab, pinch pull, and piece mounting).
Class participants will create one of a kind pieces of artwork to cherish forever.

WHEEL THROWING WITH MY PARENT (8-12Y with Parent)
Come sit side by side at the potter's wheel and both of you will learn to throw simple shapes of cups and bowls. In later weeks, you will
learn trimming and glazing your precious pieces.
