WILDLIFE BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND OTHER CELEBRATIONS

We can provide an entertaining , interactive , and educational experience on-site at the Wildlife Discovery Center for birthdays or other celebrations . Parties can be held on Saturdays or Sundays between the hours of 10:30 am and 3:00 pm .

EACH 90 MINUTE PARTY INCLUDES :

Note : Refreshments , decorations and other party-related items are not the responsibility of the Wildlife Discovery Center .

Fees : First 25 people ( children and / or adults ): Lake Forest & Lake Bluff residents $ 395 ; non-residents $ 474

Each additional person ( up to a maximum of 75 ): Lake Forest & Lake Bluff residents $ 8 ; non-residents $ 10

Bring your friends and family and join us for one of Chicagoland ’ s largest reptile exhibitions . Enthusiasts and experts from around the region will exhibit more than 150 snakes , lizards , turtles , tortoises and more . Visitors will have opportunities to meet , handle , and learn about many of these animals with representatives from museums , universities , zoos , nature centers and private collections . Featured exhibitors include Jim Nesci from Cold Blooded Creatures , the Chicago Herpetological Society , the St . Louis Herpetological Society , The Field Museum , the Madison Herpetological Society , the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Grove Nature Center . Children will be able to engage in many activities , including face-painting . A silent auction benefiting the Wildlife Discovery Center and various conservation programs will be ongoing throughout the day . These conservation programs include the International Union of Conservation of Nature ’ s Crocodile Specialist Group , the Association of Zoo and Aquarium ’ s Crocodilian Advisory Group , and the Turtle Survival Alliance .
