NEW ! TACKLE FOOTBALL - JUNIOR SCOUTS ( 11-14Y )
Lake Forest Recreation Department is excited to announce our new and improved Junior Scouts Tackle Football program ! Effective this 2018 season , all of our teams will be playing in The Chicagoland Youth Football League ( TCYFL ). This league stresses player safety and Coaches / Parent / Player education . To ensure player safety , TCYFL adheres to strict weight classifications , player ages , and then grades . Playing in TCYFL will provide game opportunities against communities that currently reside in the same Conference as LFHS . To receive 20 % off of registration fees , register by May 1st at 4:30 pm to receive Early Bird ( EB ) pricing listed below .

ADULT SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE ( 18Y +) All leagues are double header leagues and teams are guaranteed ten regular season games . All teams will qualify for the end of the season double elimination tournament as well . If there are an odd number of teams , there may be a ' play-in ' game between bottom seeds which will give one team ONLY one playoff game . Cash prizes will be awarded for league champions and trophies awarded for tournament champions .

Deerpath Park Ball Diamonds Game times will vary each night based on the number of teams signed up . Games will not start earlier than 6:00 pm nightly .

ADULT SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT ( 18Y +) Tournament will guarantee three games in a Round Robin format . NSA approved bats allowed , game play is governed by ASA rules with the exception of the Lake Forest Recreation Department ’ s ‘ local rules ’. Cash prizes will be given to 1st and 2nd place finishers ( 3rd place if there are enough teams registered ). The mandatory manager ’ s meeting will be held at the Recreation Center on the morning of the Tournament where we will discuss rules and regulations and pick seeds for the tournament .
