VINCE JUAREZ, GENERAL MANAGER
Vince Juarez is entering his second year
with Deerpath Golf Course. Vince brings
20 years of club management experience
to Deerpath. Vince has been with
KemperSports for almost six years and was
the 2014 recipient of the James R. Seeley
General Manager of the Year award. Vince
resides in Gurnee, Illinois with his wife Laura
and two sons Adam and Ryan.
RICHARD FRANKLIN, DIRECTOR OF INSTRUCTION
Richard Franklin is one of the nation’s
leading experts in junior golf instruction.
Richard is the designer and founder of
DiscoverGolf, a physical training method
and supplementary digital platform which is
currently featured at multiple golf courses
across the country. DiscoverGolf has been

advances in golf instruction for its ability to

Deerpath’s daily rates can fluctuate depending on the day of the
week, time of day, weather, and other market conditions. This
enables our customers to receive the best possible price. Saving

DRIVING RANGE
The Deerpath Golf Course driving range features a beautifully
kept grass tee hitting area with target greens to simulate on-
course shot making. The driving range is open every day from
dawn to dusk with the exception of Wednesday evening, when
it closes early for maintenance. All-weather mats are used
when unfavorable conditions would otherwise close the range.
Deerpath Golf Course also features a chipping green area with
bunker for those wanting to improve their short game. Deerpath
Golf Course is one of the few public courses that offer a complete
facility where golfers can work on their entire golf game.

DEERPATH GOLF COURSE RENOVATION PROJECT
The renovation of Deerpath Golf Course is Lake Forest’s latest
public-private partnership and it’s underway!
The City of Lake Forest has committed $1.2 million to support
improvements that have included extensive club house
renovations, an expanded terrace and landscaping, tree removal,
continuous cart paths, and other work on the course itself. There
is excitement in the community with the improvements already
undertaken and with the additional investment of private funds,
the club will be even more welcoming and will draw additional
non-resident players.
This project hopes to raise $2 million in private funds which will
be used to improve course drainage, expand the driving range,
improve course restroom facilities, create a new short game
practice area, upgrade the cart fleet and build a new cart barn.
