Lake Forest Sailing is one of the best sailing programs in the country and a phenomenal city resource.
We have programs for 5 year olds and up. Whether you want to learn to sail for fun or become a college
all-American or Olympian (as past participants have done), we have the programs and ability to help you.
Sailing is a lifelong sport the entire family can enjoy. When a young person gains control of their own vessel in the
waters of Lake Michigan, they gain an exciting confidence that will only grow. All of our instructors are U.S. Sailing
certified and trained in safety and instruction. As you look through our offerings, please do not hesitate to call the

FALL OPTI RACE TEAM (8-14Y)
This fall program is good for all levels of racers. Join the Fall Optimist Race Team to keep building on skills you worked hard to gain this
summer. This team will travel to regattas and parent involvement is important.

FALL 420 RACE TEAM (12-18Y)
Lake Forest Sailing has a proud tradition of being one of the best teams in the Midwest. This is your chance to be a part of it! All skill levels are
welcome, so don't worry if it's your first time sailing. The team travels extensively to events in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and, of course,
Chicago. Teams compete in the Midwest Inter-Scholastic Sailing circuit. You don't want to miss the boat!
