WATERCOLOR ( 18Y +) Watercolor is a wonderfully versatile medium . In this class , you will learn the various methods of watercolor including direct and indirect ( glazing ) and wet into wet while exploring still life , landscape , abstraction , and other subject matter .

PIT FIRING WORKSHOP ( 18Y +) Pit Firing is a primitive form of low temperature firing that uses various combustibles as fuel . In this two-day workshop , you will learn the different firing methods and materials , explore surface treatments that enhance marks made during the firing , and construct and fire a bonfire kiln using sawdust as fuel .

Each participant will cut a thin slab of stoneware into a simple yet elegant shape , and you will be taught to decorate it with durable , colored clay slips .
