YOUNG POTTERS (9-14Y) This class is for students who are interested in learning about the potter’s wheel and developing the skills required in wheel throwing. Functional pottery projects will be emphasized. Art Studio 3, Stirling Hall Karen Avery Students are encouraged to complete at least two sessions of Dynamic Ceramics before participating in this class. Exceptions for older students can be made. Parents and their children will work together using the four techniques of hand building (coil, slab, pinch pull, and piece mounting). Class participants will create one of a kind pieces of artwork to cherish forever.
