GRADE INFORMATION The grade listed for each camp refers to the grade campers will have completed at the end of the current school year. Please refer to the specific age/grade requirement as detailed for each individual camp. If your child is currently in Kindergarten or 1st grade, please contact the main office at 847.234.6700 to be sure we have a grade indicated in our files. REGISTRATION PRIORITY Walk in and on-line registration have first priority. Forms that are received by fax or mail will be processed as soon as time permits. REGISTRATION PAYMENT Program fees must be included with registration form. Checks are payable to LAKE FOREST PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT. Fees may also be charged to your DISCOVER, VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS card by providing the information listed on the registration form. CAMP BUSING/TRANSPORTATION Transportation to and from camp will be provided to campers for McCormick and All Stars & Beyond Camps. To be eligible for transportation, campers for these two camps MUST be registered by May 24, 2019. Our transportation services will follow the Lake Forest School District 67 day to day bus stops. We cannot guarantee door pickups and will not take requests to do so. Anyone registered after May 27, 2019, will be assigned an existing stop. Lake Forest Parks & Rec 400 Hastings Rd Lake Forest, IL 60045 COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (13-15Y) This is a special program for students who are currently in grades 7 through 10 this year or are 13 to 15 years old. The CITs are volunteer workers for the Recreation Department’s summer programs. The purpose of this program is to help the older youth of Lake Forest develop leadership skills through a summer work experience. Most summer programs will meet June 17 - August 9. Placement in the camps will vary. A packet of information, including a CIT application, will be available for pick up February 25th. CITs are required to attend an intensive staff training week (date TBA). This week of training will include various job skills, team building, time at the individual camps, and will end with a field trip just for the CITs. Additional volunteer opportunities may exist for interested individuals.
