MCCORMICK DAY CAMP ( GRADES K-4 , 5-10Y ) Back to its ORIGINAL location of McCormick Nature Preserve , the 2017 McCormick Day Camp is back and better than ever ! McCormick Day Camp , the Lake Forest Recreation Department ’ s oldest Day Camp , will feature activities such as ; woodworking , crafts , archery , nature-oriented activities , sports , games , and many group activities associated with the themed days McCormick Day Camp has always featured . This camp provides transportation to and from your home and will also provide transportation to and from the Lake Forest Beach and LFHS for beach and swim days . McCormick Day Camp campers will also embark on field trips every Friday to local Water Parks as well as destinations such as Lincoln Park Zoo and Green Meadows Farm , just to name a few .

ADVENTURE DAY CAMP ( GRADES 5-6 , 10-12Y ) Adventure Camp provides an excellent all-day , outdoor camp experience . As well as learning basic sailing , fishing , and navigation skills , campers will participate in a Geo-caching adventure . Each two-week session provides an opportunity for the campers to apply their newly acquired fire-starting skills as they camp overnight in Southern Wisconsin . Enrollment in multiple sessions is permitted and encouraged .
