VIDEO GAME CODING WITH SCRATCH & KODU

Explore TWO great programs in this in this half-day camp and learn coding with Scratch ! Dive into the world of video game animation programming by creating characters that dance , sing , and interact with one another . Working with a partner , you ’ ll add sound effects and music clips to create a dynamic video animation game by using Scratch - software created just for kids . In the second half , you and a partner will work together and use Xbox controllers connected to PCs to design , code , and present your own unique video game ! Using an amazing software called KODU , learn to add objects and scoring elements , create paths , and add multiple characters . Navigate the Xbox 360 Gamepad and build your coding skills as you create enjoyable . fun , and challenging games to share with your family and friends . Continue mastering your programming skills at home using your own Xbox 360 controller , a PC , and the FREE software .

Oh , but wait , what about the after movie PARTY ? We got you covered ! The second half of the camp will have you and your partner creating digital dance music in a heartbeat ... You can be a disc jockey or composer ! Whether you edit sounds , use instruments , add vocals , or write music note by note , you ’ ll make a CD of your masterpiece .
