CANADIAN RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSE
Summer Fun for Boys & Girls (11 years & older)
The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course is a great way for youth 11 and older to develop the fundamental skills to better
care for themselves and others. Plus, it’s a perfect program to prepare them for perhaps their first summer job! This course
covers skills for caring for infants and toddlers; babysitters’ rights and responsibilities; safety; and how to handle emergency
situations. The registration fee includes a babysitter manual, information sheet and participation card. Participants must bring
a doll (or stuffed animal) to practice with, as well as their own bagged lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided. A minimum
of 10 and maximum of 30 registrants are required.
