SUMMER 2017 AdventureLSAC PROGRAMS CANADIAN RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSE Summer Fun for Boys & Girls (11 years & older) The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course is a great way for youth 11 and older to develop the fundamental skills to better care for themselves and others. Plus, it’s a perfect program to prepare them for perhaps their first summer job! This course covers skills for caring for infants and toddlers; babysitters’ rights and responsibilities; safety; and how to handle emergency situations. The registration fee includes a babysitter manual, information sheet and participation card. Participants must bring their own bagged lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided. A minimum of 10 and maximum of 30 registrants are required. Your mission is to seek-out the smallest of plants and the biggest of animals that live in the Garden. Campers will learn what colours the leaves are hiding. Search for hidden treasures. Play big games on the grass and make a tiny tufa pot to plant! Feeling brave? Explore the historic house and check out what we’ve caught in the pitfall trap!
