We have several levels of Leaders on our programs and camps to make sure that every responsibility is taken care of .
ADMINISTRATION
Donna Kerr , Community Services Manager “ I oversee your entire summer program on behalf of Lac Ste . Anne County and Family & Community Support Services ( FCSS ). We work with partners and suppliers months before your programs to make sure everything is perfect .”
Taryn Monteith , Community Services Coordinator “ I ’ m responsible for managing your overall summer program schedule . I ’ ll make sure that you and your friends have fun and exciting things to do every day !”
Cathy Steeves , Parent Link / Early Childhood Development Coordinator “ On behalf of Parent Link and Early Childhood , I ’ m responsible for managing your free programs to make sure you have everything you and your family need , and you ’ re having the best time possible . If you have any questions at all , let me know !”
SUMMER LEADERS & SUPPORT STAFF
Paige Langdale , Full-time Summer Leader “ I have recently graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree . I will start my Bachelor of Education in September . This is my fifth season delivering summer programs . I am very excited to see what the participants think of all the cool ideas that we have come up with ! I can ’ t wait to meet all the participants — some familiar faces and some new ones !”
Carmen Wiggins , Full-time Summer Leader “ This is going to be my fifth year working as a summer leader . I love kids and I ’ ve really enjoyed my time as a leader . I will be starting the third year of my Communications Degree at MacEwan University in September . I ’ m excited to see the returnees and meet some new campers .”
Jessica Tomlinson , Full-time Summer Leader “ I grew up attending the Lac Ste . Anne County summer programs and am excited to be spending my fifth summer as a leader . I have finished my third year at the University of Alberta for my Bachelor of Arts : Recreation , Sport and Tourism . I am excited to spend time out in the sun and have tons of fun with the kids .”
Chase Langdale , Part-time Summer Team Member “ I am very athletic and my favourite sport is hockey ! I am looking forward to seeing all of the children .”
Akke Bouius , Part-time Summer Team Member “ I am 16 years old and I attend school in Onoway . I enjoy painting and reading . I love living on a farm with all my animals . I am excited for the summer programs because of all the cool camps I get to help run , and that I get to know all the amazing kids who come to the camps during the summer .”
Julia Rath , Part-time Summer Team Member “ I am 17 years old , and I like reading and being outside . I am excited for relaxation and having fun .”
Danyka Kerr , Part-time Summer Team Member I am turning 16 . I am so happy that I have the opportunity to work with the 2017 summer programs . I am involved in various activities and I have good organizational skills that can contribute to this program . I love working with kids and I am super excited to begin this journey with everyone .”
