Once again, the Onoway & District Chamber of Com- merce partnered with the Onoway & District Heritage Society to organize the Saturday morning parade. The threatening weather kept a few entrants away, but as it turned out there was no rain at all during the parade. We had some great entrants using the “Celebrating Canada” theme. Here are the first- place winners in each category: 1. Business – Timbr Mart 2. Community Organizations / Churches – Onoway Elementary School (sorry for the poor nquality photo!) 3. Equestrian – Allen Potter 4. Antique/ Classic Vehicles – Denise VanDenBussche (’73 GMC 1⁄2 ton) 5. Other – Silent River Kung Fu Winner - Equestrian Winner - Business Winner - Other Thanks to our volunteer Judges for the Parade, Mary Foss and Patricia St. Hilaire.
