Across industries, employers in the mining and quarrying sector spent significantly higher per full-
time employee on transportation (RM26,500 per employee per year), meals (RM1,600) and
medical benefits (RM4,100) compared to the other sectors. Meanwhile, the agriculture, forestry
and fishing sector spent the highest per full-time employee for other benefits such as loan subsidy
and retirement.
