At the industry level, average bonus payment in 2015 was the highest in the financial industry at
about RM22,000. This was followed by the ICT and professional, scientific and technical activities
at RM8,700 and RM8,100 respectively. The lowest average was observed in the human health
and social work activities as well as accommodation and food services.

Full-time employees in large establishments received about RM7,000 in bonus payment, about
30% more compared to those in small and medium establishments.
