Managers and Professionals
On average , total cost per month for an expatriate / PR manager was RM36,200 , which was 2.2 times more than a Malaysian manager ( RM16,700 ). Meanwhile , the cost of expatriate / PR professional was 3.8 times more ( RM29,300 compared to RM7,600 for Malaysian professional ). Cost of basic wage and facilities / benefits contributed the most to the difference in total labour cost between Malaysian and non-Malaysian in these two job categories . Average cost of facilities and benefits per expatriate / PR employee was around 10 times more than a Malaysian employee .
