In terms of levy for foreign workers, 84% of establishments with foreign workers in June 2016
(i.e. 103 employers) paid foreign workers’ levy in 2015. A total of RM5.3 million was paid by
these employers in that year. These employers had about 4,300 foreign workers in June 2016.

65% of the employers who paid levy in 2015 were in the agriculture, forestry, fishing, and
manufacturing sectors. Manufacturing employers contributed 60% of all levy paid, while
establishments in agriculture, forestry and fishing contributed 20%.
