Lab Matters Summer 2018 - Page 92

APHL 2018 Annual Meeting Poster Abstracts from the experience as well. Having to explain the benefits of QA makes one more familiar and fluent in the description of their craft. It is gratifying to know that the information being passed on will help develop future laboratory personnel. The field of Quality Assurance can be very fulfilling particularly when employee engagement with interns and co-workers provide positive outcomes, lending a greater appreciation of their work. This is β€œwhat the student leaves behind”. The intent was to develop a regional public health laboratory system where collaboration and laboratory system improvement activities could be established across the region. In 2014 a consortium-wide need for succession planning was recognized and our regional Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) was born. Cohort 1 of the regional ELP occurred in 2015 and our current ELP, Cohort 2, commenced in 2017. Each state selected an individual to participate in the program that highlighted leadership, communication, behavior style and grant knowledge in a public health setting. Methods: The participants of each cohort identified and worked on a group project. Cohort 2 chose to advance each of their own state’s public health laboratory websites to provide the most user-friendly access as έ•±°…́‘₯ΝΝ•΅₯Ή…Ρ₯ΉœΡ‘”΅½ΝЁΥΐ΅ΡΌ΅‘…Ρ”…ΉΑ•ΙΡ₯Ή•ΉΠ)₯Ή™½Ι΅…Ρ₯½ΈΡΌΡ‘”Ι•Ν₯‘•ΉΡ́½˜Ρ‘•₯ȁΝΡ…Ρ•ΜΈΙ•Ω₯•άέ…́½Ή‘Սѕ)έ‘•Ι”Ρ‘”Α…ΙΡ₯₯Α…ΉΡ́½΅Α…Ι•Ρ‘”έ•‰Ν₯ѕ́…ΉΙ•…Ρ•„)ΝΑΙ•…‘Ν‘••Π™½Θ₯‘•ΉΡ₯™ε₯ΉœΡ‘”ΡεΑ•Μ½˜‘…Ή•ΜΡΌ‰”½΅Α±•Ρ•Έ)Q‘₯́ΝΑΙ•…‘Ν‘••Πέ…́͑…Ι•½Έ…ΈA!0M‘…Ι•A½₯ΉΠΝ₯Ρ”Ρ‘…Π)݅́…•ΝΝ₯‰±”ΡΌ…±°΅•΅‰•ΙΜΈ΅½ΉœΡ‘”½ΉΝ₯‘•Ι…Ρ₯½ΉΜέ…Μ)έ½Ι₯ΉœΡ½έ…ɑ́ΥΑ‘…Ρ₯ΉœΡ‘”έ•‰Ν₯ѕ́Ѽ΅••ΠΡ‘”΅•Ι₯…ΉΜέ₯Ρ )₯Ν…‰₯±₯Ρ䁍Ѐ‘€½΅Α±₯…Ή”Έ±ΝΌ₯‘•ΉΡ₯™₯•έ…́„Ή••ΡΌΙ•…Ρ”)„½΅΅½ΈΑ…”‘•ΝΙ₯‰₯ΉœΡ‘”9A ™½Θ•… ΝΡ…Ρ—Šéݕ‰Ν₯Ρ”Έ=Ή”)„Α±…Έέ…́₯ΈΑ±…”°•… Α…ΙΡ₯₯Α…ΉΠέ…́ɕΝΑ½ΉΝ₯‰±”™½ΘΥΑ‘…Ρ₯Ήœ)Ρ‘•₯ȁɕΝΑ•Ρ₯Ω”ΝΡ…Ρ—Šéݕ‰Ν₯Ρ”Έ)I•ΝΥ±ΡΜ聁ݕ‰Α…”έ…́Ι•…Ρ•…Ή‘½ΝΡ•½Έ%‘…‘ΏŠéݕ‰Ν₯Ρ”ΡΌ)‘₯͍ΥΝ́ё”Ω…Ι₯½Ύ…ΝΑ•Ρ́½˜Ρ‘”9A Έ%Ή±Υ‘•…Ι”„‘•ΝΙ₯ΑΡ₯½Έ)½˜Ρ‘”9A °Ρ‘”½ΉΝ½ΙΡ₯Υ·Šé΅₯ΝΝ₯½Έ°Ι••ΉΠΑΥ‰±₯…Ρ₯½ΉΜ…Ή)±₯ΉΜΡΌ•… ΝΡ…Ρ•ΟŠdέ•‰Ν₯Ρ•ΜΈ%ΈΡΥΙΈ°•… ΝΡ…Ρ”‘…́„±₯Ή¬ΡΌΡ‘”)9A Ν₯Ρ”½ΈΡ‘•₯ȁݕ‰Α…”Έ%Έ…‘‘₯Ρ₯½Έ°Ν½΅”Νхѕ́ΥΑ‘…Ρ•Ρ‘•₯Θ)έ•‰Ν₯ѕ́Ѽ΅••ΠΙ•Υ±…Ρ₯½ΉΜ°ΥΝ₯Ήœ½΅ΑΥѕȁΑΙ½Ι…΅ΜΝՍ )…́5₯Ι½Ν½™Π]½Ι°5₯Ι½Ν½™ΠA½έ•ΘA½₯ΉΠ…Ή‘½‰”AΙΌΡΌ½Ή™½Ι΄)Ή½Έ΅½΅Α±₯…ΉΠ•±•ΡΙ½Ή₯Œ‘½Υ΅•ΉΡΜΈ΅…©½Θ½…°½˜Ρ‘”ΝΡ…Ρ•Μ)™½Θ½΅Α±₯…Ή”₯́•ΉΝΥΙ₯ΉœΡ‘… ΝΡ…Ρ”ΡΌ…‘Ω…Ή”Ρ‘•₯ȁ½έΈ(δΐ)15QQILMΥ΅΅•Θ€ΘΐΔΰ)AΥ‰±₯!•…±Ρ‘1…‰Μ)A!0)A!0Ή½Ιœ
