On the weekend of October 19th & 20th, Club Molisani hosted
its 2nd Annual Fall Bocce Classic. Teams from Cleveland,
Ashtabula, Michigan and Canada came to eat, drink and most
importantly play bocce.
Congratulation goes out to the winning team Palazzo 777, from
Lake Orion, Michigan and Toronto, Canada. The team
consisted of Pat Pezzin, Pat Concordia, Jose Botto, and Natale
Scala. The runner-up was our own Vandra #1, which consisted
of Pete Melaragno, Bruno Iannetta, Renato Patete, and
Mike Lapcevich.
The Club would like to thank club member Frank Catanese &
Joe Catanese for preparing food Friday evening and Saturday.
We would also like to thank Adelio & Anna
DiFranco for preparing the steak dinner
Saturday evening. They were delicious!
Last but not least we would like to thank
Sergio DiFranco, President of Club
Molisani, and Michael Frabotta, Club
Secretary, for organizing the tournament.
Also, it goes without saying, no event could
go on without the hard work from our
Women's Auxiliary members! Thank You!

Sofia Pileggi, a senior at Baldwin Wallace University,
is the daughter of Joe and Lucia Pileggi of Canton,
Ohio. It is thanks to them that Sofia has grown up
with a strong Italian culture as a child, and continues
to demonstrate her love of the Italian community.
